CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS 1st A It's Xmas time!!! Every year, our school gets ready to welcome this season with joy and lots of different activities and decorations, so that we can let the "Christmas spirit ring", as the song says.  Students from the first year, group A, built this great and original Christmas tree out of the shape of their own hands. DANCING THRILLER!! THIS BREAK TIME WAS TERRIFYING!!! Students from different levels, together with some brave teachers, have been preparing this dance for the last weeks. The English teacher, Mercedes Escavy, had the idea for this activity that everybody can enjoy now.  Things can always be better, but we are absolutely sure that everybody had a great time and enjoyed and laughed a lot. It was a great experience, so thanks a lot to CATI, TANIA, CRISTINA, ANA AND MERCEDES. We strongly hope you like it since the cooperative activities between teachers and students are actually motivating for us. GO PLANES!!

HALLOWEEN DOOR DECORATIONS Once again, our school got ready for Halloween.  This time, we have followed the tradition started last year and which was quite successful: the decoration of the classrooms front doors. After all, most student's do not get to see beyond them and they get surprised when they walk along the school corridors and see these great decorations.  We opted for something fun and simple and turned our front doors into a cute yet scary monsters. Pupils from 1st E have made a poster to welcome people who come to our class.  It is an acronym and in every sentence we think over some of the aspects we would like to reach in our learning.  We consider these statements are very interesting and important for everybody at school. The Bilingual Programme wants to join the Project "Healthy Drops" from our School.  We're starting by translating "Drop 52".   "AT THE BEGINNIG OF THE SCHOOL DAY..." How should students start the school day so that they can learn in an easy way? At first, it is always hard until we learn how to do it properly. However, if we do it together, it will be much easier.   TEAM WORK    If we create a comfortable atmosphere, we will feel better. So, what do we have to do? Look around your desk and write down the things you don't like or those which are not in their right place. Maybe, your classmates will observe the same as you do. The "Healthy drops" team has noticed some situations which seem to be unusual, but shouldn't. Look at the pictures and try to choose the right option. Let`s start at home. Organize your schoolbag the previous night. When schoolbags are very heavy, they can cause backache. It shouldn't

ANNIE, THE ULTIMATE FEEL-GOOD MUSICAL.  JOSÉ PLANES SECONDARY SCHOOL, 2016  One of the best-loved musicals in the whole world represented by the amazing actors from our school.  Featuring students from the second and third years of Compulsory Education on the 2nd of June. Produced by the English Department and directed by the teachers Cati Martinez and Mª Belén Alaminos. ANNIE includes the unforgettable songs "IT´S THE HARD KNOCK OF LIFE" and "TOMORROW". Students from PMAR have been presenting their favourite paintings orally. During the first session, the students gathered information about their selected paintings with the support of online dictionaries. Later, they elaborated a script for guiding their oral presentation. In the second session, we could listen to their magnific performances. These are some of their choices. Hope you enjoy!
