THE EARTH, OUR WONDERFUL TREASURE

Pupils from 2nd A ESO, have made interesting and beautiful posters related to the environment and current problems to save the EARTH, OUR WONDERFUL TREASURE!!! BLACK HISTORY MONTH

In our Cultural Week, one of the English Department proposal is a celebration of "Black History Month".     WHAT IS BLACK HISTORY MONTH? Black History Month is an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of blacks in U.S. history.  Some of our students have presented the following topics: 1º The Triangle Trade (Héctor, 4ºA) 2º The Issue of Slavery (Miguel Ángel, 1º B ESO) 3º Jazz Music (Marta, 4ºA) 4º Blues Music (Rubén, 4ºA) 5º Martin Luther King (África 1ºB ESO) 6º Historical   Overview on Drugs: From Nixon to Raegan (Óscar, 4ºA) Congratulations to these students for hard well-done work and to their teachers Juanjo and Cati.   We also thank Vitas for opening the event and for his inestimable help with the topics. The spirit of Houdini. A play in English.

Last Wednesday 7th February some of the students from the bilingual and non-bilingual groups went to see "The Spirit of Houdini" performed by Forum Teatre in Murcia. We had a great oportunity to listen to English and watch an interesting and different play. We had a great time in contact with English and culture.
